INITIAL EMS EDUCATION

The Division of Initial Training provides First Responder through EMT-Paramedic certification courses. With the variety of resources available in the Cleveland Clinic Health System, students are provided clinical opportunities that will help to develop their knowledge and skills over and above that of other programs. We also provide EMS field internship opportunities with numerous EMS Organizations and Regional Fire Departments. The goal of the Division of Initial EMS Education is to facilitate sound academic, clinical, and field opportunities with the leadership of healthcare providers who have fashioned the EMS profession.
