First things first, you need to become an Emergency Medical Technician – Basic. By enrolling in our EMT-B class you will lay a foundation of excellence for your Emergency Medicine Services career. (And by the way, the State of Ohio requires that you start here too, so come on, lets get started!).
(No big deal – right?) At the end of the class you will be ready for the National Registry exam which, when passed, will make you a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician- Basic and also a certified State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician- Basic.
Alright, congrats! Now that you are an EMT-Basic you can move up to our cutting edge Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic course. Our EMT-Paramedic course will assist you with getting that Firefighter job or maybe a position in an Emergency Room! The course is slightly shorter than a year and maximizes the amazing resources we have available to us by the Cleveland Clinic.
